Spanky Spanky Racing Started in 2004 when I (Reagan Everett) bought a 1985 Cougar Picklefork. Then the fun began. We took a 440 chevy short block and came out with a Blown 496 chevy with Nitrous. We had a trying year the first year (2005) but came out 9th in the Stock Eliminator (11 second) Class with 2660 points. The fastest ET and MPH was 10.25 at 103.
We can't wait till next year. There will be few changes. We have a new boat. Earl Smith tunnel boat that weighs somewhere close to 300#s. We have a computer controlled launch control and a new BDS 871 blower and a few more items that are unmentionable. At this time we are not sure what class we will be running but we will know before long. We will be in the nines.
2006 Season:
We did run in the nines. I was licensed in the Top Eliminator class (9 seconds) in Oklahoma. We ran a 9.53 at 113 mph motor only. We got most all the grimlins out and in Brady won runner up in Second chance and in Bryan (last race) we finally got the boat tuned to run the numbers. We were #1 qualifier with a 10.004. Yes that is a double 00 four.
We have a few changes going on this next year. We will be running race fuel through a HAT. Here we go again. It is our goal to run Top Eliminator class. This should be interesting.

First 2007 race Waco Tx. #2 qualifier out of 17 boats with a 9.008. We were happy about getting it dialed in so quickly but it would not start very easily on the line which made it very stressful to get all in the right mind to cut a good light. We won the first round of Eliminations on Sunday and lost the second by less than a tenth. We are switching to alcohol so watch this.....
